President Muhammadu Buhari has postponed his planned return to the country on Monday, for a later date, saying he needs to complete medical tests.
The President who has been on vacation to the UK, for medical treatment, said he still has some tests to run, and will have to wait to receive the results.
A statement made available on Sunday, by the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity,Femi Adesina, conveys the president’s gratitude to his well wishers.
It said: “The President had planned to return to Abuja this evening, but was advised to complete the test cycle before returning. The notice has since been dispatched to the Senate President, and Speaker, House of Representatives.
“Mr. President expresses his sincere gratitude to Nigerians for their concern, prayers and kind wishes.”
