President Muhammadu Buhari will lead the delegation of West African Leaders to the Gambia on Wednesday to persuade the sit-tight president of Gambia, Yahya Jammeh to concede victory to the opposition’s President-elect, Adama Barrow.
Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, informed the press on Monday in Abuja, that President Buhari will be accompanied by his Liberian counterpart Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and former president of Ghana, John Dramani; the leaders will explore all options including the use of force where possible to impress on Jammeh the consequences of his imposition.
